Can chatbots really create things in the same way that people do? I discussed this with a chatbot designed to write computer code to see if it could explain the difference in creative processes between humans and Gen-AI.

Maybe there's a "Dial-a-Creativity" setting inside the chatbot.

In the samples above, the chatbot compares what an AI would say with what a human would say. How does it know what a human would say? I could ask the chatbot, but I don't know which temperature setting to use.

The whole Gen-AI chatbot thing makes me nervous. There are going to be horror stories. Millions of lines of AI-written computer code, full of subtle bugs, that no one understands. Time saved, versus time lost looking for and fixing errors. There are privacy issues. Hackers and scammers will have a field day with this new tool.
